Measures taken

Pages have clear headings, labelled navigation, links to skip repeated content, and descriptive link text and image descriptions. A visible marker shows which link or button you have selected with the keyboard. Layouts adapt to small screens and browser zoom.

Checks and remaining limitations

In September 2026, browser checks covered phone and desktop layouts, keyboard operation of the menus and story viewer, section links, the course heading and links that skip repeated navigation. These were focused checks, not a full accessibility assessment with screen readers or other assistive technology.

Lettering inside story images does not reflow as ordinary text. Each story includes a text transcript, and its image can be enlarged. Films have dialogue transcripts. Readers who need a different format can report this using the contact link below.

Report a barrier

If a page or download is difficult to use, use the contact page. Include the page address and the problem encountered. Where possible, we will provide another format and check the problem.
